If you feel trapped in a difficult relationship with food, please know that change is possible.

PEOPLE DO RECOVER

It is normal to feel caught between the desire for recovery and the fear of what letting go of the disorder might mean. Whether you are exhausted by constant thoughts about food and weight, or feel overwhelmed by the process of change, you do not have to navigate this alone.

Understanding Ambivalence

Feeling "stuck" is a recognised part of recovery known as Ambivalence.

It is the tension between wanting a different life and fearing the loss of a familiar coping mechanism. Together, we work through this conflict at your pace, transforming that internal hesitation into the momentum you need to move toward lasting change.

My Specialist Support can help you if you:

  • Feel stuck in patterns of restricting, purging, or binge eating.
  • Need a structured framework to build healthier, more sustainable eating patterns.
  • Are seeking evidence-based guidance rooted in professional experience and lived understanding.
  • Are medically stable but find yourself struggling to make practical progress on your own.
  • Are motivated to explore the underlying functions your eating disorder serves while working toward a more resilient future.
